Festspielhaus Hellerau

Built in 1911 (Heinrich Tessenow) the Festspielhaus Hellerau was a center of european modern art until WW I. From 1937-1992 it has been used first by the german, then the russian army. Since then it's used for cultural purposes again (since 2004 the "European Center for the Arts Hellerau is located here).

On the left is a ground-plan, on the right a sectional view of the big hall. The entrance is in both cases on the right. The size of the hall is about 34,50 * 16,00 m. There's a balcony over the entrance and two galleries on the opposite side.
